The Ministries of State of the Dominican Republic (Spanish: Ministerios de Estado de la República Dominicana) are the primary units of the executive branch of the government of the Dominican Republic. This was formerly known as the Secretaries of State (Spanish: Secretarias de Estado) but that denominations change from January 26, 2010 with the reformation of the Constitution. The Change was effective in February 6, 2010 by Decrete 55-10. The Ministries of Justice, Public Instruction and Foreign Affairs; of the Interior and Police; of Finance and Commerce, and of the War and Navy was the first executive branch having been established in the first Constitution of the Dominican Republic in November, 1844.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Gaceta Oficial - Constitución Política 1844 - )〕 Ministries are analogous to Departments and Secretaries of State in others nations.
